Dr. Cantwell has been a psychiatrist for over 30 years. He is dual Board Certified in Adult and Child/Adolescent Psychiatry, received his medical degree from the University of Michigan in 1987, and completed his residency and fellowship training at the University of Florida in 1992. Dr. Cantwell has served as full-time medical school faculty at the University of Virginia and the University of Colorado, and as Medical Director at several psychiatric facilities in Colorado, before opening his first private practice in Mt. Pleasant, SC in 2006.  Dr. Cantwell joined Alabama Psychiatric Services (APS) in 2008, and worked there until 2015, when he joined Comprehensive MedPsych Systems in Fairhope after APS closed.  In 2017, Dr. Cantwell opened his solo private practice in Fairhope, Cantwell Family Psychiatry (CFP), and sold CFP in 2023 to Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH).  He is thrilled to continue serving his established patients as well as new patients at the IBH office in Fairhope since August 2023, before moving to our permanent location in Daphne in late 2023.  As a Christian, Dr. Cantwell provides quality care and has a compassionate, collaborative, and respectful approach to addressing the medical, biopsychosocial and spiritual needs of patients and their families of all ages.

Dr. Cantwell provides comprehensive outpatient evaluations and treatment to patients of all ages in the context of their families whenever possible and clinically appropriate. Dr. Cantwell provides competent and compassionate care in treating the most common psychiatric disorders throughout the life spectrum.  His clinical interests include:  Mood disorders such as Major Depression and Bipolar Disorders; Anxiety Disorders such as Generalized Anxiety, Social Anxiety, Post Traumatic Stress, Panic and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorders; Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorders; Learning Disabilities and Behavior Disorders; Autistic Spectrum Disorders; Sleep Disorders; Eating Disorders; Substance Abuse; Dementias in consultation with Neurologists; Psychotic Disorders; Grief and Loss associated with the death of a loved one, divorce, family conflict, unemployment and suicide; and collaboration with Primary Care and other Specialists regarding the impact of mental issues on patients’ physical health.  Dr. Cantwell prefers to have patients engaged in psychotherapy with counselors and psychologists whenever possible and collaborates with these other mental health professionals, as well as refers patients for psychological and neuropsychological testing when indicated.

Dr. Rogers is an adult psychiatrist with a passion for serving the South Alabama community with high quality and compassionate care. He graduated with his Bachelor’s of Science from the University of South Alabama in 2015 where he was a member of their football team. Dr. Rogers earned his medical degree from the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2019 and returned to the University of South Alabama to complete his psychiatric residency. He was trained in a variety of settings, disorders, and treatment methods. Some of his specializations include substance use disorders, alternative treatments for treatment resistant depression, dementia, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, and ADHD. Due to his background as a college athlete, he has a passion for helping fellow athletes navigate their mental health obstacles by serving as the treating psychiatrist for a local D1 athletic program. He is excited to join the IBH team to serve the mental health needs of his local community!

Dr. Hollowell joined IBH following his graduation from the Psychiatry Residency program at the University of South Alabama, where he distinguished himself as chief resident in his fourth year. He earned both his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, graduating Magna Cum Laude, and his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of South Alabama.

Initially, Dr. Hollowell trained in Family Medicine after receiving his medical degree; however, he transitioned to psychiatry after two years. Throughout his psychiatry residency, he received comprehensive training across a variety of settings, disorders, and treatment modalities. His commitment to education was recognized when he received the Resident Teacher of the Year award.

She has worked in an outpatient psychiatric office, skilled and assisted living facilities extensively as well as an inpatient Geri psych unit as a Registered nurse. She received her master’s degree in 2013 from the University of Cincinnati and became certified the same year. She is a member of Phi Theta Kappa Society, the International Scholastic Order and Psi Beta the National Honor Society in Psychology. She is dedicated to giving her patients the highest quality of care and treats with the utmost respect. She is a Christian of Independent Baptist faith, enjoys singing, reading and her grandchildren.
