About Our Staff

Our Benefits

IBH has a 4 tiers of insurance offerings through Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama to tailor your coverage to you and your family’s needs. The amount you pay will depend on the benefits you choose and if you choose to cover eligible family members.

Employees are eligible for health benefits if you are a full-time employee working more than 30 hours or more per week. Your health benefits can begin on your first day!

IBH will pay $395 monthly to cover cost of premiums. Your premiums are conveniently and automatically deducted from your biweekly paycheck.

Integrated Behavioral Health is pleased to offer 401(k) benefits to our employees through Empower as part of our commitment to supporting their long-term financial well-being. Regardless of your decision to contribute to your 401(k), IBH contributes an amount equivalent to 3% of your salary or wage on your behalf. This is called a “non-elective safe harbor” contribution that comes at no cost to you. You do not have to contribute to your 401(k) yourself if you do not want to, and you will still receive this benefit that will continue to grow on your behalf.

Employees Eligible for 401(k) Benefits:

  • Full-time employees who meet all of the following criteria:
    • age 21 years or older
    • have been employed by IBH for 6 months
    • worked 500 hours during that 6-month period
  • Or Long-term, part-time employees who meet these requirements:
    • age 21 years or older
    • 3 years of service
    • with 500 hours worked in three consecutive calendar years

You’re always 100% vested in both your own 401(k) contributions as well as IBH’s non-elective safe harbor contributions.

At Integrated Behavioral Health, we value the professional growth and development of our providers and are proud to offer comprehensive continuing education benefits. As part of our commitment to fostering lifelong learning, we provide an annual continuing education budget to support costs associated with coursework, conferences, or other professional development opportunities. Also, we offer additional paid time off (PTO) specifically allocated for continuing education activities, allowing our providers the flexibility to advance their knowledge and skills. These benefits are designed to empower our providers to stay at the forefront of their field while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Therapists and Nurse Practitioners are allocated 2 CEU days annually, and Doctors are allocated 5 CEU days annually.

To all of our staff members, we provide complimentary access to a comprehensive course catalog featuring over 74,000 professional development courses through ADP Learning Management. This extensive resource covers a wide range of topics, from professional development and leadership training to technical skills and personal interests. Whether you are looking to enhance your expertise in your current role or explore new areas of learning, the ADP course catalog offers flexible opportunities to help you achieve your goals. This benefit reflects our commitment to empowering our team with the tools and knowledge to thrive both personally and professionally.

We are committed to the well-being of our team members. Integrated Behavioral Health is proud to offer three disability coverage benefits at no cost to eligible employees: Workers’ Compensation Insurance, Short-Term Disability Insurance, and Long-Term Disability Insurance. IBH covers 100% of the premiums for Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Insurance, ensuring employees have access to these essential protections without financial burden. Additionally, any disability benefits received under these plans are tax-free, providing further peace of mind and financial security in the event of an unexpected illness or injury.

IBH provides all eligible employees with two company-paid Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment insurance policies. Life insurance provides your loved ones with a financial benefit in the event of your death or injury. Company-paid life insurance costs you nothing, all you need to provide is your beneficiaries so they will be able to receive this benefit.

To provide you with added financial security, IBH has partnered with Principal to provide affordable group rates to our employees if you would like to purchase additional Life Insurance coverage for you & eligible family members.

At Integrated Behavioral Health, we prioritize the well-being of our employees by recognizing the significance of work-life balance in nurturing mental health. We understand that rest should be a priority and life’s unforeseen circumstances, such as personal illness or the needs of loved ones, can arise unexpectedly. Therefore, we are committed to fostering a supportive environment by offering generous Paid Time Off (PTO) benefits. Our goal is to accommodate the needs of our staff members, ensuring they have the flexibility and resources to address both personal and professional commitments without undue stress or financial strain. While PTO accrual begins on the date of hire, new employees are eligible to utilize these benefits after a 90-day waiting period.

At Integrated Behavioral Health, we take pride in providing in-house billing services to support our providers and streamline administrative processes. Our dedicated billing team handles all aspects of customer service, ensuring that patient inquiries and payment-related matters are addressed promptly and professionally. The only responsibility for our providers is to submit the correct insurance codes for their services. From there, our billing team takes care of the rest, allowing providers to focus on delivering exceptional care without the burden of managing billing complexities.

In addition to billing, our in-house credentialing department offers comprehensive support to our providers. Our team manages the submission of all credentialing applications under individual NPIs and assists with hospital affiliations, when applicable. We also provide guidance and reminders for license renewals and other credentialing needs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. By handling these administrative tasks, we help our providers save time and effort, allowing them to concentrate on their clinical responsibilities while maintaining up-to-date credentials.

Integrated Behavioral Health is proud to provide complimentary malpractice insurance to all mental health providers on staff. This benefit ensures that our providers are fully protected while focusing on delivering high-quality care to their patients. By covering 100% of the malpractice insurance costs, IBH alleviates the financial and administrative burden typically associated with securing this essential coverage. This offering underscores our commitment to supporting our providers and fostering a safe, professional environment where they can excel in their roles with peace of mind.
